Our Spine Center is directed by Sun H. Lee, M.D., Ph.D., who is a fellowship-trained, board certified, senior neurosurgeon specializing in complex spine surgery. Prior to joining the Valley Neurosurgical Institute, he was Director of the Comprehensive Spine Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rutgers New Jersey State University, where he served for 14 years.

His experience with complex spine surgery surpasses 6000 operative cases.  His clinical and research interests include complex surgery of the spine, surgery of spinal cord tumors, and minimally invasive surgery.
